My marketting advisor found it nessecary that was mentioned that no animals were harmed during the creation of this track, that it is completely gluten free, fully recycable and approved by the society of martians living on earth……in other words: You need this! and if you don’t, you do! :)

I started of with Martijn’s bass on a looped beat and construced the bassline and then the skanks, searching for sounds i came up to Stefan’s Houseware Blues which had the nice harmonica and the humming and searching along i found Copperhead’s banjo. I replaced the beat by the much better beat of Neurowaxx and I wondered if there were trombone solo’s on ccmixter and found Solo’s to Use’s trombone solo, then i went over to Kara’s vocals and took snippets from two uploads, then i placed Speck’s scatting, Kara’s whistle and with Javo’s subtile guitar licks all was completed.

The result is a nice piece of country-esque ska, specialy thanks to Martijn’s driving bassline which gave the impuls to the track to be made. I was as happy as a child with a new mecano building box to fit in all the stems from the different artists and I hope you like the turn i took in the other instruments, maybe not all is ‘in the chords’ but it sounds nice to me.
